What fast track actually is

Fast track is an escort service through the arrival formalities at an airport. A staff member meets you after you leave the aircraft and walks you through the immigration and baggage steps using the priority lanes where the airport provides them.

It does not change any requirement that applies to you, and it does not skip a step that has to happen. What it changes is the queueing and the guesswork, which is most of what makes a long-haul arrival unpleasant.

What this site will carry

Terminal-level detail: where the service starts at each airport, what the escort covers, how it works when you are travelling as a family or with reduced mobility, and what to expect at the arrival times when the halls are busiest.

Why it is not written yet

Terminal arrangements differ between airports and change more often than people expect. Writing generic copy that reads well but does not match the terminal you land in is worse than writing nothing.
